Sam M. Walton College of Business Alumni Society
Founded in 2003 by alumni and friends of the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business, the society is a chartered organization of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
The society operates under the guidelines of a constitution and bylaws approved by the Arkansas Alumni Association.
The society's mission is to promote partnership and networking opportunities among alumni, faculty and friends of the Walton College by enhancing avenues for effective information exchange through organized events, communications and other activities.
The society's purpose shall be:
- To foster communication among alumni, former and present students, faculty and friends, through special invitations to events, publications and other activities
- To perpetuate and foster friendship and goodwill among its members
- To act as a conduit for the interchange of dialogue between the society and the Walton College
- To strengthen student relations with the society and the Arkansas Alumni Association
- To foster the development and maintenance of society scholarships and other assistance programs
- To support efforts in recruitment of qualified students to the Walton College
- To enhance the national perception of the Walton College
- To promote and increase membership and participation among alumni and students in the Arkansas Alumni Association and the Society
Walton College of Business Alumni Society Membership Eligibility
You are eligible to join the Sam M. Walton College of Business Alumni Society if you are:
- A graduate of Walton College
- A former student of Walton College
- A friend of Walton College who desires to pledge support to the society
- A faculty/staff member
- Graduating seniors automatically have one year's active membership in the society
