Black Alumni Society Scholarships

Scholarships are available to both incoming freshmen and current UA students who meet specific criteria. Black Alumni Society Scholarships recognize students who contribute to the diversity of the University of Arkansas campus.

Perry-Jones Scholarship

The Sammie Perry and Ernestine Jones Scholarship is a one-year scholarship worth $2,500. Applicants must be upperclassmen with a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA. In addition, students must be from one of three counties in Arkansas: Jefferson, Phillips, or Ouachita.

Black Alumni Society Endowed Scholarship

With contributions from the University of Arkansas Black Alumni and friends, the University of Arkansas has established a four-year Black Alumni Society Endowed Scholarship.

Trent, Sheila and Vivian Walton Scholarship

The Trent, Sheila and Vivian Walton Scholarship is a one-year, $2,500 need-based scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman whose parent or grandparent attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
