Annual Award

  • The Alumni Legacy Scholarship entitles the recipient to be classified as a resident for tuition and fees purposes. The scholarship does not change legal residency. Your bill, however, will reflect resident charges. The scholarship value is the difference between non-resident and resident tuition charges and is only represented by the change in residency for tuition purposes.

Renewal Criteria

  • Renewable for a total of 4 years (5 years for Architecture majors and MAT students) with completion of 24 credit hours at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 at the end of each academic year (spring semester). Students who did not meet renewal at the time grades were checked in spring, but that meet renewal at the end of the summer term will be renewed for the following year.
  • Transfer students years of eligibility will be based on the number of hours transferred.
