SAB Committees
Grad Finale Committee
The Grad Finale Committee is responsible for the planning and execution of The Grad Finale — a party for members of the graduating class. At Grad Final, graduates receive dinner provided by a local restaurant and entertainment provided by a local band, as well as a free one-year membership in the Arkansas Alumni Association and a free gift.
Red Carpet Day
The Red Carpet Day program is a recruitment event geared especially toward sophomore and junior legacy children, the sons and daughters of University of Arkansas alumni. The committee will be charged with planning a day that SAB will "roll out the Red Carpet" for these prospective students.
Faculty Appreciation Banquet
The Faculty Appreciation Banquet Committee works closely with the Associated Student Government to plan and execute the Faculty Appreciation Banquet. This banquet is a way for UA students to give back to their outstanding professors and faculty members.
Executive Committee
The purpose of the Executive Committee is to serve as a special resource group for the standing committees of SAB. They will represent the board in public and campus relations and will deal with the administrative details of SAB.
Homecoming Committee
The Homecoming Committee organizes Homecoming in conjunction with the Arkansas Alumni Association and other Registered Student Organizations. The Homecoming co-chairs will form a campus-wide committee to promote awareness of Homecoming activities.
