Got a Packet? Need help?
So now that you've received your packet what do you do next? The following steps will help you understand the packet and what steps to take in completing your packet to make sure you get a Missouri Hog Tag.
What we need from you are three things:
- A check made payable to the Arkansas Alumni Association for $40. You will enjoy knowing that $25 of this check will go directly to a scholarship fund for Missouri students to attend the University of Arkansas. The remaining $15 will go to the Missouri Department of Revenue for registration costs.
- Please complete the enclosed Emblem Use Agreement form.
- Please also complete the Personalized License Plate Application (DOR 1716); see an example form completed. We have enclosed this as well. Please notice that step four requests your six choices for your new plate. To see if your choices have already been used, you can e-mail your plate requests to: mvbmail@dor.mo.gov You should receive a response within 1-2 days.
Also enclosed in your packet is a business reply envelope for your convenience.
Once 200 applications and funds have been submitted by the Arkansas Alumni Association to the Missouri Department of Revenue, the state will begin production of the specialty license plates. You will be contacted by the Missouri Department of Revenue and they will issue your specialty license plate.
