The thousands of people who used their official UA credit cards over the years have substantially enhanced the Arkansas Alumni Association's programs and the University of Arkansas. Since the credit card program was first launched in July 1996, over one million dollars of financial support for the University through the Association has been earned by card users, the alumni and friends of the University. These resources have made a tremendous impact on our many programs in support of the University's students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and have come at no additional cost to the cardholders.

In order to carry the official card and support the University, you must apply for a card from MBNA. The sooner you begin carrying the official card, the more support you will earn for the University of Arkansas, at no cost to you. Show your Arkansas pride! Carry the official UA credit card!

To apply for a personal Razorback MasterCard credit card, you may either call MBNA America toll free at 1-877-518-9007 (please mention priority code MOEM), or apply through their secure online-application.
Apply for a Razorback Business MasterCard® credit card
Applications for a Razorback Business MasterCard credit card are only available through a special toll-free number. To apply for your business card, please call 1-888-859-3261.
The Association Board of Directors continues to make every effort to upgrade the features and services available through the credit card program. Frequently, as in this case, such valuable upgrades require new affiliations with card issuers whose philosophy of customer service and top-notch products match those of the Association. In the spring of 2001, an ad-hoc committee of the board solicited and reviewed bids from credit card issuing banks all over Arkansas and the United States. The committee, composed of experienced bankers, attorneys, and other business people, selected MBNA because of the breadth and depth of their experience in the affinity credit card arena, especially with alumni associations, and their industry-leading customer service ratings.
MBNA not only provides unparalleled service to card holders, but will offer additional valuable services that were previously unavailable to our program. Services like business credit card accounts, travel points reward programs, revolving loan accounts, and special deposit account services are being introduced. It all adds up to more and better services for you, our alumni and friends. After all you've done for us, you deserve the best we can offer.
Note: Only the new MBNA cards will support the University. Previously-existing cards stayed in circulation as a convenience to our alumni and friends, but the old cards no longer provide any university support, and are no longer endorsed by the Arkansas Alumni Association.
