Faculty Appreciation Banquet

Faculty Appreciation Banquet is planned by the SAB, Faculty Appreciation Banquet Committee, closely with the Associated Student Government. This banquet is a way for UA students to give back to their outstanding professors and faculty members. The committee is responsible for getting students to nominate their teachers and then determining which teachers should be awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award.

All the teachers who are nominated are invited to the dinner and receive a plaque indicating that they were nominated. Three of those teachers are named Outstanding Professors and receive an Apple Trophy.

The nomination period has ended for the 2008 banquet scheduled for Feb. 21. Thank you to all those who nominated a faculty member. There were a record 130 nominations for 84 outstanding faculty members.
