I want to personally welcome you to our recently updated website for the Civil Engineering Society. Our Board of Directors is working hard to promote the University and particularly the Department of Civil Engineering. This year we are excited to be able to help the students as they host the Regional ASCE Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge Competitions taking place April 17-19, 2008. If you are interested in helping out those days, please let us know.

Our Mission
The mission of the Civil Engineering Alumni Society is to promote communication and friendship among alumni, faculty and friends of the Department of Civil Engineering by providing a forum for information exchange through organized events, newsletters and other activities.
The purpose of the Civil Engineering Alumni Society shall be:
- To foster communication among alumni, former and present students, faculty and friends, through events and other activities.
- To perpetuate and foster friendship and goodwill among its members.
- To promote activities that would help recognize the importance of civil engineering.
- To act as a conduit for the interchange of dialogue between the civil engineering alumni and the Department of Civil Engineering.
- To foster the development and maintenance of current and future scholarships and other assistance programs.
- To support constant improvement in the Department of Civil Engineering.
