Remember, not all employers list available positions through search engines. One thing you can do to help in your job hunt, would be to make a list of all the companies in a particualr area and see if they are hiring. For example, if you are interested in pharmaceutical sales, you might want to check Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and other pharmaceutical companies' websites to see if they are hiring.
